Who we are?

The JAK company was established in 1989 on the wave of political changes as a commercial law company CTH “JAK” Sp. z o.o. – a joint venture of two friends: Mr. Janusz Jędrzejczyk and Mr. Piotr Kukuła. The name of the company (modeled on the English-speaking ones) also comes from the names of the founders – the abbreviation JAK (“Jędrzejczyk And Kukuła”).

At the beginning of the 1990s, Mr. Kukuła leaves the company, selling his shares to a new partner, and the company is joined by Mr. Janusz’s spouse, Anna Jędrzejczyk – financier and specialist in foreign trade. Soon, the “family” enterprises will be joined at this point by supporting them with their knowledge and experience, also: Zenon Jędrzejczyk – senior, father of Mr. Janusz, respected foundry engineer and cousin for many years associated with the industry, Dariusz Jędrzejczyk – metallurgy specialist and foundry and a long-term researcher at AGH and ATH (University of Bielsko-Biała). They strengthen the expert position of the company on the Polish market of industrial raw materials and contribute to the further, dynamic development of the company.

The turn of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries also means intense changes in our organization, the name and seat of the enterprise are changing, and more people join the well-coordinated team. Unfortunately, the following years will bring a global economic crisis, initiated by the collapse of the US financial markets, which is also reaching us. However, it works catalytically – the company JAK Sp. z o.o. in its current form, continuing the tradition and credibility of its predecessors.

Today, we can proudly say that we are one of the largest and most experienced suppliers of technologies and industrial raw materials for metallurgy and foundry in Poland, and our clients effectively participate in the dynamic development of the Polish industry, building its power. We are glad that JAK Sp. z o.o. it also plays a part in this process.
